When the ability of your body to sleep regularly is discontinued, then you are experiencing a sleep disorder condition in your life. This can be due to several reasons. This might either be due to stressful life or other health ailments.
Lack of sleep will have a negative influence on your mood, concentration, and energy. Let us discuss a few types of sleep disorders
We call it Insomnia when we cannot fall asleep or stay in sleep. This might be due to stress or anxiety in life, or maybe digestive instability, hormonal changes, or jet lag. Sometimes these might be the symptoms of other underlying health conditions too. Insomnia can cause an overall health terror and have an inferior quality in life. Insomnia is commonly caused by depression, weight gain, performing badly at work or school, a hard time concentrating well, irritable situations. If you are experiencing insomnia for a month regularly, then you have a chronic condition that you need to deal with. If it occurs periodically, we call it an intermittent condition. If you experience insomnia for just a few nights at a time, we call it a transient condition.
If you keep pausing your breath while sleeping, then you better know that you are going through Sleep Apnea. It is a serious condition where your body takes lesser oxygen and this puts you in an irritable situation. You keep waking up at night regularly without having any clue.
These are a series of disruptive sleep order conditions that produce abnormal behavior and unpredicted physical or verbal gestures, perception of dreams, and emotional attire. You would wake up from a deep sleep with a completely blank state of mind, puzzled and not able to think much. Some of the types include Bedwetting, teeth grinding, jaw clenching, nightmares, groaning, sleepwalking, and sleep talking.
Restless Leg Syndrome(RLS)
You might find it necessary to move your tingling leg when you lay on your bed. You can have this at night or day time. An irresistible urge to move your legs is considered as the main symptom of this condition. The person falls into a state of fatigue and it keeps coming after. Start your aerobic session by doing it 20 minutes each day. At least 5 days a week is needed for a better feel. Commonly seen in elderly people. This condition is linked to Parkinson’s disease and other similar conditions.
You will experience sleep temptations at day followed by extreme and quick tiredness that leads you to fall asleep without a warning. The condition will put you in a state of sleep paralysis when you wake up from sleep. The condition comes without a warning as it is caused by a neurological disorder called multiple sclerosis.
You will feel like urinating at irregular times. You will be having a tendency to wake up in between your sleep. This perturbing will spoil your sleep. An imbalance in the hormones or any other urinary tract disease may develop and lead the condition to be chronic. This means that you will have pain or blood-tinged while urinating.
You will be having allergies, respiratory infections, or a common cold that distracts your sleep at night. You will be forced to breathe with your mouth that causes other difficulties. You might have more difficulty if you have a chronic respiratory condition and you live in a place where dust is immense and thick around you.
A Pain due to other chronic diseases disappoints you from having a good night’s sleep. You will fall asleep and wake up in the middle of the night and it keeps repeating over and over again. Some of the chronic pain conditions are arthritis, bowel syndrome disease, persistent headaches, fibromyalgia, and continuous lower back pain.
These are the worst moods that we fall into when we are not getting enough rest or if we are sad or unhappy with life situations. It affects our sleep very badly which puts us in a very hard situation to fall asleep or staying awake. You will be immersed in nightmares, sleepwalking and sleep talking conditions that disturb your sleep
